Student Internship

We offer internships for school students in the areas of Development, Supply Chain Management (Procurement and Logistics), Production and Manufacturing.
Generally, we receive more applications from school students than we have internships.

We therefore recommend that you apply to us at an early stage as soon as the period can be defined.
During an interview, we will ask you about your interests and wishes so that we can plan your time with us in the best possible way to meet your expectations.

Pre-Internship

For defined technical degree programs, a pre-internship is necessary to enroll in a program.
The requirements for the pre-internship can be viewed directly at the respective educational institution.
We ensure that you fulfill the required points with us while gaining practical experience.
It is important that you submit the educational institution's requirements along with your application documents to us so that we can assess feasibility.

Compulsory/Engineering Internship

You can complete a mandatory internship required for your degree program with us.
Our goal is not only to clearly meet the requirements of the educational institution but also to provide you with additional opportunities to apply your theoretical knowledge in practice.
The mandatory internships are primarily conducted in our developing departments.
If desired, there is also the option to temporarily switch to a production area.

Hardware and Software Development

We are generally looking for working students in the areas of hardware and software development.
You will have the opportunity to support daily operations and take on tasks independently.
Furthermore, we offer you the chance to contribute your knowledge and skills to the further development of the respective organizational unit. You can also write your thesis with us in the areas of Software Design, Electrical Design, and Mechanical Design.

Procurement

Our procurement department offers numerous opportunities to apply your knowledge and gain experience.
Our procurement system is widely ranged and is divided into several product groups.
As a working student, you will support the various procurement phases and carry out your own small projects to further develop the different product groups with the support of the department management and the team.

Apprenticeship 

Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems

In choosing this apprenticeship, you will assemble various simulation devices with us.
The quality of our devices is very high. Pilots find hardly any difference compared to the original device.
You will use various mechanical and electromechanical components to build the assemblies (devices).
Through intermediate tests, you will verify your activities and thus ensure quality. After uploading the firmware, you will participate in the final device test and see the results of your work firsthand.
During your training, you will gain insights into other development and manufacturing departments to better understand the significance of your work.

Responsible Department: Electromechanical Production

Precision Engineer - Mechanical Engineering

During your apprenticeship you will learn various skills to manufacture precision components for our simulation devices.
This includes creating programs for computer-controlled machine tools.
To achieve high quality in our components, you will meticulously plan workflows and set up the machines. Using technical drawings, you will verify whether the specified dimensional tolerances have been maintained after the machining processes. You will have the opportunity to observe and evaluate the results of your work on the simulation device and system.

IT Specialist - System Integration

The corporate IT department is a key pillar for Reiser's success.
In the IT team, you will apply theoretical fundamentals from school into practice. With support, you will plan, install, operate, and manage IT systems. 
The right selection of hardware and software components is crucial to ensure efficient operations. You will build systems, network them, and commission them. Additionally, you will handle first-level support tasks, convincing the staff with your knowledge.

IT Specialist - Application Development

Software applications have gained increasing importance within our company in recent years and have become a significant part of our product portfolio. IT Specialists in Application Development master the required programming languages. 
Based on internal requirements and customer needs, a wide range of customer-oriented software solutions are created, tested, and maintained. 
Especially in the field of helicopter and aircraft avionics and dynamics, various models are developed by Reiser.

Office Management

During this apprenticeship you will perform various organizational and commercial-administrative tasks. 
You will gain experience and knowledge in different teams, such as Procurement, Financial Accounting, Sales, or Human Resources Management.
Within these teams, you will work in daily business operations and take on small special projects.

Dual Studies

Business Administration - Supply Chain Management

At Reiser, students gain deep insights into the field of supply chain management, learning how strategic and operational procurement and logistics operate, as well as understanding the internal material flow. In addition to daily operations, students undertake their own projects with the aim of directly incorporating insights or changes into daily operations.

Mechanical Engineering

At Reiser, students particularly get to know the departments of Mechanical Design, Electrical & Electronic Design as well as Projects & Systems Engineering. They are actively involved in projects, daily operations, and special tasks to gain comprehensive experience.
This includes tackling challenging designs for our simulators and their technical implementation, as well as preparing project milestones with our customers.

Students at Reiser are placed in the Software Design department where they gain insights into various areas of responsibility - from IT project infrastructure and software solution design to the software commissioning of our simulators. They are actively involved by taking on responsible tasks.

Can I send an unsolicited application?

You are welcome to apply to us at any time. Simply use our application form for this purpose.

What lead time do you need for starting at your company?

This depends on the position, whether it is an internship, work-study or writing a thesis.

For a work-study position, we typically require a lead time of about 4 to 6 weeks.

You can start a thesis with us within a few weeks (2-3). The challenge here lies more on the side of the educational institution, as the work must be registered with them.

Internship positions are in high demand and can be filled quickly. Therefore, we recommend that you apply at least 12 weeks before a possible start with us.

If you are interested in a summer job, you should contact us about 6 weeks before the start of the holidays.

What can I earn at Reiser?

Your monthly gross pay depends on your monthly working hours with us. Depending on your experience, skills and field of deployment, the hourly rate ranges between €12 to €18.

For a bachelor's thesis, we compensate with €650 per month, and for a master's thesis, with €1,100 per month. Depending on the results of your work, you will receive an additional performance bonus of up to €1,000 upon submission of your thesis.
